Preface#
What is Xiaohe Shuangpin#
Xiaohe Shuangpin is a Chinese input method solution based on the Xiaohe phonetic input method. It maps the initials and finals of Chinese characters to two keys on the keyboard to input Chinese characters. Xiaohe Shuangpin is characterized by its simplicity, ease of learning, and high input efficiency. The initials and finals are mapped to two keys on the keyboard, and different combinations are used to input different initials or finals. Its design concept is based on the phonetic syllable structure and frequency distribution of Chinese characters, allowing commonly used phonetic combinations to be input more quickly. Xiaohe Shuangpin has multiple versions, such as Xiaohe Shuangpin 98 edition, Xiaohe Shuangpin 86 edition, etc., and the key layouts of each version may vary. This input method solution is widely used in China and is favored by some users.
